Born and raised in Assoliy village, Taib’s passion for traditional Berber weaving techniques and rare textiles grew alongside his extensive travels and work in Marrakech, eventually leading to the creation of Pot of Rugs and later, Soukie Modern. Now based in Palm Springs, Soukie combines vintage Moroccan rugs with modern design, featuring an in-house collection of sustainable, customizable rugs, tapestries, and home goods. The inventory changes daily, and all pieces are one-of-a-kind,
